Artistic practice

My artistic Practice is influence by the culture of the urban street art in Singapore. The spaces in Singapore Street Art is very limited and the only legal place where Graffiti pieces are made is at a Skatepark.

 

It is restricted to create a work of art in the streets as the public will call it vandalism. Throughout my process, i have collected a remnant of graffiti pieces before it was change. The fragment shows the value of time and space. Due to the layers of spray paint that has applied on the wall. The layering represents different Graffiti writers works that were created throughout the years.
